PRO TIPS

Shed Demolition can be a complicated task, here are some tips from our years of experience.

1. Turn Off the Electricity
Safety first! Make sure all power to the shed is completely disconnected before you start.

2. Remove the Windows
Take off the trim around each window, then carefully remove the sashes and frames. Once loosened, pry the window and frame out of the wall.

3. Remove the Doors
Pop out the hinge pins with a hammer and nail, then place a tarp underneath the door before lifting it out. If the door is heavy, leave it on the tarp to move safely.

4. Take Apart the Roof
Start by stripping off the shingles. Next, dismantle the roof framework by removing all nails holding it together.

5. Disassemble the Walls
Cut into one wall from top to bottom to create a starting point. Remove the drywall in sections, then carefully take apart the external walls. Watch for studs and wiring as you go.

6. Remove the Floor
Finally, take out the wood flooring or break up the concrete slab. A pry bar works for wood floors, but for concrete, you may need a professional with a jackhammer.

1. It’s not just about who can show up with a truck—it’s about who you trust in your home to do the job right. Savvy homeowners look for local, family-owned businesses because they care more about reputation and customer service than big national chains.

2. They make sure the company is licensed and insured, because accidents shouldn’t be your problem.

3. They choose companies that charge by the load, NOT by the hour.

4.  They appreciate a NO-pressure approach with zero upsells or hidden fees.

Oh! And a good crew won’t just haul the junk; they’ll sweep up after, too. It’s those little details that make a big difference.
